Responsibilities

  • Comply with Juniper Communities’ philosophy and hallmarks as well as all written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the community including state, local and federal regulations.
  • Assist Executive Director(s) and Leadership Team Members with assigned areas of operations.
  • Assist in all areas of operations to include Administration and Business Office, Community Relations, Wellness, Dining, Connections, Environmental Services and Home Office operations.
  • Works collaboratively with leadership team members and maintains positive relationship with among all staff, residents, and families.
  • Obtain required licensure and certifications as assigned such as C.N.A., Medication Technician, AL Administrator, etc.
  • Completes all training and in-services as assigned.
  • Attends required meetings that include daily stand-up, daily rounds, monthly Leadership Team meetings, and Family council.
  • Assist with community based marketing and networking, lead generation, inquiry management, community tours, and move-in coordination.
  • Assist with Connections programming including AIAS, calendar audits, social media and newsletters.
  • Assist with business office operations that include AR, AP, payroll, and HR including the recruitment process within the community.
  • Participates in P&L and budgeting process.
  • Assist with environmental services operations that include safety inspections, preventative maintenance and OSHA requirements.
  • Assist with wellness operations that include service planning and conference attendance, documentation, Connect4Life coordination.
  • Assist with survey readiness.
  • Assists with the completion of reports and documents in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Assist with In Touch Orientation and in service training.
  • Comply with established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control and quality assurance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and staff information.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
  • Meet applicable state requirements regarding licensure and/or certification.
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals within the community.
  • Attends and participates in mandated yearly training programs as well as all required meetings.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently so as to achieve goals.
  • Adheres to all Human Resources policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Respects confidentiality of information and Resident’s rights.
  • Performs job in a safe manner, using proper body mechanics, infection control, etc.
  • Responsible for proper care of all property, equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
  • Performs other duties as required.
