    • Ensure compliance to Juniper Village’ philosophy and hallmarks as well as all written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the Wellness Department.
    • Embraces Culture Change and resident-centered philosophies
    • Complete all assigned paperwork to meet current regulatory compliance standards.
    • Continually assess residents to identify any change in condition, mood, behavior, or level of function to insure appropriate interventions to maintain the residents’ highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial wellbeing.
    • Assist in the coordination of effective communication among Resident Associates, residents, and families.
    • Maintain liaison with residents and family members.
    • Through ongoing supervision, oversight, and delegation assists in the provision of a continuous high quality of service within the Wellness Department.
    • Assist in establishing rapport among Health and Wellness team members to facilitate teamwork.
    • Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent Resident Associates.
    • Assist in the continuous, ongoing supervision of all Wellness team members, including but not limited to training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, and evaluating.
    • Assist in the In Touch Orientation and in service training.
    • Assist to ensure that all staff follows established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, bloodborne pathogens, hazardous waste and quality assurance procedures.
    • Carry out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Follow established policies and procedures in support of QAPI efforts.
    • Make written and oral reports to the Director of Wellness concerning the operation of the Wellness Department.
    • Work in concert with other members of the Wellness Team.
    • Assist in the coordination of health care services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
    • Assist Neighborhood Wellness Coordinator or the Director of Wellness in various nursing activities as assigned.
    • Continually assess residents to identify and insure appropriate care and service.
    • Assist in the coordination of regularly scheduled wellness meetings.
    • Complete all administrative paperwork as required.
    • Medication administration.
    • Works in conjunction with resident’s attending Physician, as needed, to make certain highest quality of service is being provided.
    • Submit recommendations to the Neighborhood Wellness Coordinator for budget completion, equipment, and supplies.
    • Responsible for scheduling all nursing staff, following up on call off’s finding replacements as necessary, available to fill in for shifts as needed. Alternate on-call time with Neighborhood Wellness Coordinator as assigned.
    • Assist in the development of work schedules and assignments to ensure staff accountability and task completion.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and staff information.
    • Serves as networking team member, as directed.


    • An RN or LPN license. A current RN or LPN license in good standing.
    • Previous management experience in healthcare or service related setting.
    • Knowledge of all applicable governmental regulations.
    • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be computer literate.
    • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals within the community.
    • Attends and participates in mandated yearly training programs as well as all required meetings.
    • Must be able to manage time efficiently so as to achieve goals.
    • Adheres to all Human Resources policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
    • Respects confidentiality of information and Resident’s rights.
    • Perform job in a safe manner, using proper body mechanics, infection control, etc.
    • Responsible for proper care of all property, equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
    • Perform other duties as required
